Terms of Sale
These terms cover purchase of a Stacker Pro lifetime license. Use of the app is also governed by the EULA and Privacy Policy.
Price
- US $20 lifetime license (current list price)
- One person, on Macs that person owns or controls
- Not a subscription
Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, if any, depend on how the storefront is configured.
Trial
Stacker Pro includes a 14-day in-app trial. The trial starts automatically on first launch. You do not need to buy anything to evaluate the product.
When the trial ends, Pro features lock until you activate a STKR1 license. Saved stacks stay on your Mac. Free browser-only stacking remains available in the separate open-source Stacker app — not as a free tier inside this binary.
How licenses are issued
Licenses are offline STKR1… codes. They validate on your Mac with no license server.
- You will receive a
STKR1…code - Paste it in Settings → License (or on the unlock screen)
- Keep the email used for the purchase or complimentary license
Purchase at Lemon Squeezy checkout. After payment, a second email from licenses@ryanloechner.com includes your STKR1 code (check spam). Activation stays offline. Complimentary tester codes may still be issued by the developer.
Refunds
Indie software, kept simple:
- Request a refund within 14 days of purchase
- If the license has not become a long-term daily driver, you will get a refund
- After 14 days, sales are generally final, but obvious defects or a license that never activated will still be made right
To request a refund, write to licenses@ryanloechner.com using the email from your purchase. Include the purchase date and (if you have it) the license id. After a refund, stop using that license code.
Complimentary friend-tester codes are not purchases and are not refundable.
What you are buying
A license to use the official Stacker Pro application under the EULA. You are not buying the source code, trademarks, or a right to redistribute the app.
There is currently no Mac App Store listing. Updates are delivered in-app (Sparkle) from a signed feed, and as signed/notarized builds.
Changes
List price and these terms may change for new purchases. A lifetime license already issued remains valid under the EULA in effect when you bought it, except where a change is required by law.
